The catalyst for me in deciding to make this website is that making websites is really fun, awesome and I will take literally any excuse to collect stamps and buttons and old gifs then post about rocks.

I've entirely hand-wrote the site, so that means no using site-builders or pre-made templates. A partial reason for doing it this way is because it lets me keep all the code properly organised and commented to my standards. Another reason is that site-builders are just so boring.

A simple media query has been set up so that the site is shuffled around to be useable on a phone's browser. The experience, unsurprisingly, isn't the best, but I'm not averse to making my site unpalatable to any psychopath who would browse NeoCities on their phones.

In terms of design philosophy, the only real one is that I want my site to be entirely self-contained. If NeoCities goes the way of the dodo then I can just drag the files elsewhere. Link rot may hit external links but these can at least be freely removed.

If you'd like to add my site's button to your site then you can find it on the homepage. I'd recommend not hot linking the file because, even though I would only be plundered of 2 kilobytes of bandwidth, I sort out backend files so often you would probably get about 2 weeks out of it before the link broke.
